Alert: Beware of Counterfeit Products from www.seasturtle.com
Hello everyone,
I need to talk to you about something important today. I’ve found out that a website called seasturtle.com has stolen some of my Christmas Ornament patterns. They’re using my designs to make and sell counterfeit versions. This isn’t just happening to me - other designers on ETSY are having their work stolen too.
I first learned about this when one of my customers bought what she thought was one of my ornaments from seasturtle.com. But when it arrived, it wasn’t a cross-stitch at all. It was screen-printed on canvas with a piece of wood hot-glued to the back. It was cheap and not at all the quality of the authentic cross-stitch patterns I create and that you expect.
What's more, seasturtle.com claims on their website, "Have fun and cool up your life! We care about our most valued customers. Your satisfaction is our top priority. If you are not happy with your purchase, feel free to contact us!" Sadly, this is far from the truth. They say they’re located in Alaska, but they’re actually located in China. Furthermore, the address they provide in China is phony. They don’t have a listed phone number, and while there is an email address, they do not respond to messages. It's clear that their claim to care about customer satisfaction is empty.
Their website might look convincing at first glance, but don’t be fooled – every product they showcase is counterfeit and taken from ETSY. They've gone to great lengths to make it appear legitimate, but it’s all a facade.
Every one of my patterns is designed, stitched, and finished by me personally before I make it available for download. When you choose one of my patterns, you’re getting more than a cross-stitch pattern - you’re getting a piece of my heart and soul, infused with quality and authenticity that can never be replicated by counterfeiters like seasturtle.com.
I am very grateful for all of you who buy my designs and support my work. I put my heart and soul into creating these patterns and it’s disappointing to see them being stolen and used this way. I respect the law and the creative rights of other designers, and I know you do too.
I want you to know that I’m always here for you. If you come across something that doesn’t look right, or if you’re unsure about a product or seller, please feel free to reach out to me directly. Our connection is not just about patterns and stitches, but a deeper bond that we cherish in the cross stitch community.
Please be careful where you buy from. If you ever have any doubts, you can always reach out to me. Let’s look out for each other and keep supporting real, original artwork.
Thank you for your trust and support.
